The website stays in narrative and acts as a portal into the new world. The film itself leans into 70’s and 80s aesthetic and music so the website took on a similar feel. We worked closely with Disney and riffed off the existing on screen graphics. This was an integral part of the narrative at the event and could be found throughout the experience. THE OLD BAUBLE FACTORY This was our physical portal into the world of Wishmas. Set in the fictional western/steampunk town of Phantom Peak. Participants become visiting townspeople and are tasked with saving the town from the manipulative Gearhart through challenging learning scenarios, storytelling, technology and puzzles. I was tasked with creating the concept and delivering the designs of the physical prop that their team would go on to build. These assets should not only further the narrative but immerse the learners in their companies goals and business manifesto. We created an artefact that would be authentic to their original ethos, a wooden important document akin to The Declaration of Independence. Each rule corresponds with a layer and an illustration representing that rule. Participants were tasked with finding and assembling The Covenant in order to get the townspeople back to their roots and remember what they stand for. Victorian theatre boxes were the main inspiration. For IBM’s newly adapted digital only events we wanted attendees to have some fun inbetween webinars by creating the Cloud and AI Runner game. The goal: run as far as you can from your desk. With subtle nods to various IBM case studies participants can play this simple, fun game and learn a thing or two about how IBM technology is putting smart to work.
